PrairieBaby Maine Coon Cats
CH Bogy-cats Xenos of PrairieBaby ("Tigger")

a happy, healty boy!
Tigger arrived here on July 10, 2005 and I was pleasanty surprised when he came out of his kennel. He is one of those cats that look a lot nicer in real (some cats look better on pictures than in real, with him it's the opposite). None of the pictures we have taken of him so far do him any justice. I want to take this opportunity to thank Andrea Bendrin from Bogycats in Germany for this outstanding Maine Coon!

lover boy.............(thinking about his next meal already..........)

When I started looking for a really big, cuddly "Brown boy" from tested show lines that still had the "proper" proportions, LITTLE did I know how tough of an undertaking this would be...... Phew!!!

Honestly, I was just about ready to give up when I saw Tigger on Andrea's homepage. Andrea is a very special breeder in Germany who has managed to maintain the proper head shape and wonderful coat - even when striving for a large and long appearance. I see in Tigger the quality and size our Maine Coons were once famous for.
3 years on picture, on the lazy chair......
Tigger is a VERY large and heavy Maine Coon boy with affectionate, confident and easy going character. As soon as we sit down he is all over us. He gets along perfectly with our other males, even though he was introduced to them as a half grown male. His weight at 2 years was about 22 pounds.
Tigger is *exactly* what I had been looking for to breed to my moderate looking females! He has a wonderful rectangular frame, awesome coat, long bushy tail and a a head to die for! Perfect gums and teeth on that boy - just like the rest of the bunch here.
Tigger's favorite spot - our leather couch
He is so careful there is not a single scratch from his claws!!

A comment of one of the judges at the show who has been judging a very long time: "I don't think I have never judged a cat this big".
Would you like to see Tigger grow up?

We have been breeding some of our part foundation girls to Tigger - mostly Brock's daughters and granddaughters - in order to preserve size and boning. Coral, Jelly Roll P and Prairiepaws have produced outstanding results (below). We will show the offspring of those breedings in ACFA.
Here are two of Tigger's four siblings:
And here is the whole bunch in a kitty pile when they were little:
