Important Note: There are presently several backyard breeders working with new foundation lines. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from them just to get a cheap deal on a cat from New England! There is also a very unethical breeder in Germany who is presently misusing the lines we have established with hard work. Please be on guard!
The Heritage Site provides us with a great selection of breeders who work with cats that do have a certain outcross value, some of them are part foundations. This page here is specifically for breeders who have *their own foundation lines* AND for breeders who are working with Maine Coons that are *partly from newer foundation lines*. Occasionally a full- or part foundation Maine Coon cat can be obtained, sometimes starting at second generation (F2) up to sixth generation (F6). This page shows the location of the breeder and also which genetic diseases he/she presently screans for. Please make yourself familiar with the topic with the link *General questions about outcrossing and foundation breeding* before looking for outcross.
